Holidays in london, Itly and spain

Hi,

have just booked flights(thru air asia paid $1100 return all inclusive) to fly in to london for 2nd april 2012 and returning on 29th arpil 2012

Me and wife are going first time to London.

and this is how we are thinking

stay 1 week in london (please advice where and what to do)
Travel 1 week in Italy (been to rome and venice) (please advice where and what to do)
Travel 1 week in Spain (please advice where and what to do)
We still got 1 week to go somewhere can you please advice??

and is driving is good option around spain and italy

or help us by posting your thoughts on above trip, as if you were travelling.

As its your first time in London it'll take you the full week to get to grips with the city,see the main sights and maybe explore one or two neighbourhoods in more detail.

In Italy as you've already been to Rome I would recommend a week in the region of Tuscany, Florence or Siena would be good cities to be based in. I haven't been all over Spain but you should do some research on Barcelona and Seville.

Just a note on the driving, the general stereotype is that the Spanish and Italians are chaotic drivers, that said I did a road trip from Portugal to Seville and then further a few years ago and for the most part (on the main roads/ motorways) it was fine. But I would advise against driving in the cities especially in Italy, the iner cities are a labyrinth of one way and restricted streets and there and heavy fines if you make any mistakes.
