Has anyone been? I'm considering going for volunteer work/safari.

I went a couple of years ago, just for two weeks though. We went to Selous game reserve which is less visited than Serengeti. It was great, the first day trip was probably one of my most memorable days of my life. We only saw a couple of big cats though and no male lions, that was one disappointment to us.

It is nice to finish off any Tanzania holiday in Zanzibar for a few days.
