What are the best honeymoon places in Australia?
Wow, what a choice you have here in Australia. We have a lot of romantic secluded locations, many of which I have stayed at, myself.
My best locations for:-
Wine Regions - Hunter Valley - NSW, Barossa Valley - SA, Margaret River - WA.
Beach, Coastline - Exmouth - WA, Sydney - NSW, Sunshine Coast - QLD, Byron Bay - NSW, Broome - WA.
There are so many choices, maybe if you give us an idea on what you like we can help further.
Also check out this link I found: - http://travel.ninemsn.com.au/holidaytype/luxuryspa/654950/australias-hottest-honeymoon-spots.
Hope this helps, best wishes :)

It probably depends on what you like to do but I'd suggest the Whitsunday islands (eg Hamilton Island). Beautiful place to just get away from it all and relax is amazing surroundings. Some of the smaller islands are very private and great for a honeymoon.

I agree with Traveller, the Whitsundays are a great place to go for Honeymoons. But If your looking a a quiet romantic place then would suggest looking at islands that only have the one hotel on it.. like Hayman for instance.
If you went somewhere like Daydream or Hamilton Island then there is a lot more other people and especially families. In saying that however you will find more activities to do in places like Hamilton Island. From Hamilton you can get ferries to the other Islands as well.

To be honest i would be a fan of a quiet holiday in a colder location like Tasmania or maybe Lord Howe Island. That way if the weather is good you can go wine tasting etc, or if it is bad you can just get cosy by the fireplace.
Don't forget Western Australia. My friend visited Eco Beach in WA and absolutely loved it. A bit out of the way of course but she (http://www.zanui.com.au/) said it was definitely worth it.
Despite what people say, Darwin is also a nice little getaway. My parents were there for a few days and said the sunsets there were incredible.

I also prefer a quiet holiday, but if you are active, then there is a plane which would go to the voyages, not to sit in one place :)

Australia is a great honeymoon destination for a wide variety of other reasons , Australia is a great place to go for foodies. Barossa Valley is a chief tourist destination which is located in South Australia. This place is filled with natural wonders and exotic landscapes .
