Rail Passes Europe

Hi there, we are travelling to France, Switzerland and Italy in August and we will travel by train from France to Switzerland and from Switzerland to Italy but we will spend more than a week in Switzerland. I was thinking of getting a Eurail Select Pass - do we need a Swiss pass as well or will the Select Pass get us the same in Switzerland while we are there?? thanks:)

I am not an expert on this but since they are all bordering it should be fine. You may want to check the cost of fares inside Switzerland because short train journeys are often cheaper to pay as you go rather than use the pass.
