Late Autumn here, moving into Winter unfortunately. The last week has been OK though about 19 degrees celcius and scattered cloud. Hopefully it holds out for the weekend also...

Lima is between 25 and 30 all year round and does not rain. Well, I lie, we have about 7mm per year. It's the second biggest desert city in the world. The only difference in the seasons is that during summer, it's blue sky, and in winter a sea mist hangs over the coast. I really miss autumn and spring!!

Middle of August here in Adel and we can tell that Spring is just around the corner. Have had a few nice sunny days recently, and some of the earlier season trees are starting to flower.

Back to cold and drizzle for the next week though :(

It's 'winter' in Lima, which means that we have a fog sitting over the city for about 7 months with 99% humidity. Temp ranges from 15-20 degrees. It's a weird phenomenon. We are just south of the equator, and it gets 'cold'. Enough to be in jeans and a jacket and require a warm doona at night. The reason is the warm temperatures off the coast creates condensation and as it approaches to the coast turns into a sea fog. Te coast line here is unique in that there is a 100 - 200m cliff face along the sea front, and then the Andes start to rise about 20km on shore. So, the fog comes in, and just sits there. It's extremely dreary and dull and depressing!

On the otherhand, in the mountains and the Amazon, winter is the Dry Season, and it's blue skies all round. Perfect!!!

I'm currently in the Uk - so its summer, however you wouldn't believe it, its hardly stopped raining lately - although the weekend is nice. Sure it beats Melbourne though but i've got friends in Coffs Harbour and they said 29 degrees was predicted this weekend - nice!

The weather is psychopathic in Adelaide today. Haven't seen wind this gusty for quite a while. While I was walkin' to Uni I watched a poor ladies hat being blown off on North Terrace. Last Winter storm before Spring arrives I imagine.

I swear I seen a tumbleweed roll past at one point!

How's the weather in oz at the moment? I heard there was a minor heatwave in mid NSW (hitting mid 30's) and gales in Victoria

I'm currently in Cuzco enjoying the fine dry sunny skies.

Here for 4 days and then back to Lima.

Going to a 'clensing ceremony' tonight at my wife's work. The Grandfather of one of her staff members is a Shaman and is coming in to clense and bless the company and the staff going into the new Andean New Year.

eeeek.

Yeh its a bit strange at the moment. Very cold and windy across the south and then unseasonally hot (35 degrees) in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Central Ukraine: windy, rainy and a bit cold - quite the opposite to yesterday's weather  I like such weather, but it's the last day of summer so it must be summer weather: hot and sunny... Dreaming to get to the seaside :)

Awesome weather here today. Spring is really in the air, not a cloud in the sky and a nice 23 degrees celcius. Time to wash the car, have a round of golf then sit outside with a beer :)

Two low pressure system colliding over South Australia at the moment. Wind, rain, hail, possible light snow!

Will move on to Melbourne tomorrow for the AFL grand final which promises to be miserable conditions

Currently experiencing South Australia first ever November heat wave. Last 5 days have been 35 degrees celcius and upwards, with no end in sight for another 3 days.

Love it :)

Ended up with about 9 out of 10 days above 35 degrees. A cold front is bringing a change through Adealide now, but the heat has moved on to New South Wales.

The media is doing a massive beat up once again about the heat and fire danger. Its like they want one to happen just so they have somehting to sell papers... :(

Cusco is just entering the rainy season at the moment, so it's getting a little cooler and raining more frequently. Not too bad at the moment though. The sunny days here are amazing.

What a shitty, miserable start to the month. Adelaide is encountering a deluge of cold, rainy weather. I'm very tempted to venture somewhere up north to escape these unbearable mini-storms.

I hope this doesn't mean we're in for a freezing winter. Screw that!

Maybe if I sit down, close my eyes and picture myself back in Fiji i'll start to feel warm... :)

Starting to move into Winter here in Sydney, with the days markedly shorter after daylight savings ended.

Now only just sunrise at 7am and almost dark when i knock off at 5:30pm

Yeah, just started to close in hasn't it.

First sort of rainy day today.

Up till now has been exceptional.
