Innbruck airport is my favourite - the steep descent from the alps - round the valley and past the skiers in a large airbus is hair-raising!

Singapore is my fav, i had a lovely shower, used the gym and had a proper cuppa before getting back on a connecting flight - better than heathrow or sydney any day!

I don't remember thinking it was anything special.
The new Bangkok airport is more like a fly-through shopping mall.

If you get a chance to have a long layover in Dallas, I suggest you do so. The airport in Dallas was the nicest one I have seen in my life. I was there on my way to Australia, and it was like a mall. They has shops and nice restaurants to see while waiting for a connecting flight. It really passed the time because I had a 6 hour layover waiting to board my plane.

I agree! singapore is really perfect! I also love the relaxing little "gardens" there with all the flowers and ponds.

I would have to say Singapore too. Everything is so structured there. They have rooms that you hire for those with long stopovers and even entertainment systems scattered around the airport. Word of warning though.. while the temperature is nice inside the airport, when you step out it feels like jumping into an oven.

Singapore is the best I have come across. Free massage lounge chairs and quiet sleeping area, free internet kiosks, free movies. Great duty free shopping and lounges too. Last time I had a stopover there they were even doing free vodka shots!
