Hi all,
What are your travel plans/hopes for 2010?
We are moving to Sydney, so hope do a bit of exploring of the surrounding areas, but unfortuantely no overseas travel on the cards for us in 2010.

I know it's another 12 months away, but any early travelling plans for 2011 Prawno?
I've been saving to go on a Japan trip for the last 3 years but I think I might go backpacking in Europe later this year instead.

I'm following Prawn and moving to Sydney.
Holiday wise, probably just some trips to the Hunter valley, Blue Mountains, and to Cairns for some diving.
Heading back to Australia is going to be my 'holiday' for the next 2-3 years, then I'll be long term travelling or moving overseas again. :)

I spent 2 months in Eastern Europe a couple of years ago. Awesome places to see. #1 tip would be to learn the Cyrillic alphabet if going to Bulgaria, Ulkraine, Russia, etc.

Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and if time permits maybe Northern Croatia and Slovenia. I'm flying in and out of Vienna though, so maybe some time in Austria. I'm going to several places in each of the first four, so it's not just a quick fly around.
Feel free to share any tips :)

I think that all i'll manage this year is to visit BC, Canada and maybe Seattle. Need to head back to see family since its been 3 or 4 years since my last visit.

Could be a trip to Vietnam on the cards in a few months. My brother went there on his honeymoon last year and the photos were amazing! I was especially impressed by Ha Long Bay. Can't wait to see it for myself!

Previous month I visited a beautifull Greek island, called Crete. It was fantastic!
Beautiful beaches, perfect weather and gourmet food. I loved that place.
