Visa is a seal or endorsement made on a passport by the proper officials of a country that entitles the bearer to apply for entry into another country at the port of admission. And a passport is issued by a national government, to identify the bearer as a citizen of the issuing country....

I hear the US is one of the thoughest Western countries to actually get a VISA for. Anyone experienced the process?

Anyone experienced the process? If you're entitled to a Visa Waiver (Aussies are) then you go to an online site, fill out the form, and it's approved on line. Just grab the green Visa Waiver form to fill out as you go through customs and you're OK. I actually got held up for the first time on the way in last week, probably due to the amount of transits through to South America. I must have looked a bit dodgy also I think with a 3 week growth.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Youth Working Visa for all of the European Union? Or is it just the UK that offer this option?

It would vary between countries. What country are you located in?

Visa's and passport times and processes vary between each country. Why not update us of the process as you go along? :)

Your local travel agent should be able to give you update information about visa's to anywhere in the world, they can also organise it all for you.

That's right, The US and Australia are the hardest to get visa.
Australian Visa is easier, The US now so strict since the WTC terror.
But if your documents are complete I think you'd have no problems..

I'm not really familiar with these kind of problems, maybe you should call your embassy for some enlightenment.

Getting an Australian Visa is not hard depend on what kind of Visa you are applying for. I know this because I was a customer service of one website who offered a Visa processing online. As long as you have all the requirements and If you pass the Australian Immigration Online Assessment set by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) you will know if you are eligible to apply for immigration to Australia.
