Hi There,

I wish to travel from Perth to South America (Brazil first for Carnival!), do a few months there, then travel up to Atlanta from Peru and drive to Los Angeles from there.

So what would be the cheapest way to do this flight wise?

Go Via America? Then connect to Sth America? I thought maybe a return flight from LA would be good with V Australia? That way id have to buy the flight LA - Brazil & Peru - Atlanta separately?

Other options could be buying one way flights each way? ie : Perth - Brazil, then LA - Perth - But I think return flights are cheaper?

any help would be appreciated!!

any help would be appreciated!!I think flying to BA with Aerolineas with a connection to Rio, then make your way over to Peru, and up to LA return to Aus. Could do it all with the Oneworld alliance I think.

There are some dirt cheap fares going to the USA now so it could work out a lot less that way but will be longer.

Yes I noticed I can get Perth to LA return for around $1600, then LA to Salvador in Brazil for around $700.

This works because I will be going up to America anyway and flying out of there

as against around $3500 - $4000 return to South America

The next bit I need to work out is LA - Salavador in Brazil....

It appears I need to go through Sao Paulo, any tips for booking South American flights?

I notice there are two airports @ Sau Paulo?

Hello Swanny, I agree with you but BA in British provide affordable cost and my friend Sam told me BA provide good service and affordable cost.

Hi there,

I came across your post on aussie travellers forum and thought Id write you a quick email.

I have just started mu own Travel agency working from home.
Travel Concepts is based under the Jetset Travel brand. The difference between myself and any Travel agency is I do not mark up my nett fares, therefor can sell them to you at a nett price. Im based in Melbourne however I have the facilities to service Australia wide.

I do pride myself in finding the best possible fares around!

If you are planning your next trip I would love to hear from you! :)

Regards,
Aimee

Tenerife is the main island in the Canary Islands, which is part of Spain, and is a very popular holiday destination with year round warm weather. Travellers can benefit from this downturn by bargaining for cheap holiday travel tickets and discount hotel reservations in Turkey. Cheap airline tickets and flights to Turkey are another benefit.
