Working in Oz

Hey guys - i am coming out to australia soon and need to know if anyone has had much luck finding work in country victoria and new south wales?

My sister's friend spend months working in and around brisbane in queensland, but i hope to start off in melbourne and work up through nsw and them up to alice springs and travel to darwin.

What do you think? Any ideas?

Hey Charlie,

I think i just posted a reply to you about the same thing on another thread but there is plenty of good work in australia if you know how to find it. My mate & I came out to Australia on the Ultimate Oz package which was brilliant. Through the Ultimate Oz guys, we used a company they work with called TRavellers At Work who hooked us up with all of our work so far in a few differnent places.

They have been great and we have made good money. And we have been in work for pretty much most of the time too.

Go to the Ultimate Oz site if you need more infomation but i totally recommend somethiung like this. I wasn't that into the idea of an organised arrival group before i came out with ultimate oz but in sydney it was the best way to meet a group of people & go out partying.

Thanks for the advice. Do Ultimate Oz do a trip into Melbourne or is it just to Sydney?

Sounds good regarding the work side of things though. I feel a bit less worried now.

I am just posting this for anyone following my conversations & wondering where it's all heading! ha ha :)

I contacted the Ultimate Oz guys yesterday & had a live chat with one of their customer service people. They were so helpful i must say.

Basically they told me that they dont do melbourne or brisbane arrival packages which is a shame but i have booked with them anyhow, as I have heard so many great things about Sydney & i am sure it will be the best place to start off really.

Btw i also found their page on facebook and a few of their previous customers have posted on their blog sites about them and i read these reviews.
