It is my partners birthday coming up on the 16th of April- As we both work i'm in need of ideas for a quick weekend getaway. I am based in Albury Wodonga (The border of NSW and VIC) and willing to travel 6-7 hours to get somewhere. I would love a romantic weekend away but we both also like adventure and anything old/antique.... Any ideas for destinations or fun/different events/tours????? Thanks!

Mallacoota, on the coast just south of the VIC/NSW border is really nice. Eden is also worth a trip and probably has more old/romantic stuff.

You may think about visiting Hunter Valley.It is only two hours drive from the north of Sydney.
