Hi

I know you need to present ID and the Credit card used to book flights to a destination on departing the country but do you need it when leaving the country you're traveling to returning to home?

I wanted to transfer the ownership of my ticket in to my name not my partners but because it's booked on his card I couldn't.

I'm feeling trapped and I need to know that if I have to or need to go separate ways while away I can come home without needing to have his ID & Card details to check in to my returning flight.

Please help!!!

Whether your coming or going you will need a ticket with your name on it and ID to match or you wont get through the check in area or security. You can fly with a ticket booked on someone else's credit card but you need to be named as the passenger on the ticket.

Check the website or call the airline it is often possible to edit the details of the named passenger. Don't mention wanting to transfer ownership of the ticket but you could explain that he booked it for you with his credit card but accidental put in his own name as passenger instead of yours. It's a long shot but worth a try.

Exactly what Amy said, if its in your name, you can pick up the ticket. And it will probably have a ticket in your name anyway. Or do you just have a pickup id for an electronic ticket? I am sure (as Amy said) the airline will help you out and at least tell you if you can.
