Im looking at taking my family on a holiday to the USA in 2014.
I know its a whikle away but im looking into things i.e flights etc now to see how much it will cost me and which airline is more convientient.

Im hoping people can help me out as to there opinion on airlines in which i can choose, the 2 i have leading the race so far are Qantas and V australia.
Im leaning towards Qantas as i fly with them a lot domesticly and beacuse of there FF program.

I havent flown V before but have read some good reviews about the 777 flights.

Im really interested in flying on the A380. If i was to choose between the 2 (qantas and V) who would you go with, comfort ie leg room and service, and cost. with a family of 3 i would like to keep the flight cost low but would like the comfort also.
Also what the diffrenece in the classes as in Premium Economy class to Economy class, is it worth the money and what are the diffrenece???

going to hawaii for the first time next month. and was really looking forward to finally being of age in australia so i can buy alcohol duty free. im 20 years old, but while in Hawaii ill obviously be underage (there legal age is 21).

does anyone know if im still ok to buy alcohol here to take there? or am i just going to have to be sober the whole trip?!

I'm planning a trip to East Coast Australia Dec'12-Jan'13 for 3-4 weeks and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

I plan on spending New Years in Sydney and Xmas on a good beach. I want to see as much as possible in this short time as well as have a few nights out.

Anyone else around this area at the same time or have any suggestions?

Dont! We flew with them from Qutio to the Galapagos... Just a warning to all those considering flying with TAME Airlines when they are in Ecuador... Dont!

We flew with them from Qutio to the Galapagos (Baltra) and had bad experiences with the flights in both directions.

When leaving Quito our flight was an hour delayed (which is understandable and tolerable), however once we took off an hour late we then flew all the way to Guayaquil (scheduled stop) and then were told we weren't allowed to land and had to fly all the way back to Quito! No English explanation was given.

After sitting on the Tarmac for over half an hour in Quito, we then took off again and then the trip went smoothly from then, but we eneded up in Baltra between 3 and 4 hours late with no apology or English explanation from the airline.

On our return flight from Baltra to Quito one of our bags was broken by the baggage handlers. TAME Airlines agreed to fix the bag, however they said it would take 3 days (just for a bit of stitching) and that they could not deliver the fixed bag to our hotel. When it was fixed, a day earlier than expected, they said we HAD to come pick the bag up that day, as they wouldn't be open on the original day agreed upon. They also refued to pay for our taxi fares to come to the airport (with one hours notice) to pick up the bag.
