Destination Asia. More and more tourist from the Western nations are finding their way to the attractions offered by Asian countries. Asian tourism is now a major player in this global industry.
As a traveler on budget, I would like to know what are the cheap spots on Asia. |

Depends how cheap you are looking, but Vietnam is damn cheap.
Laos is even cheaper, but hard to get around apparently |

The entire region can be done cheaply, but agree with Vietnam and Laos for value for money.
Compete with Central America for cheapness, but higher quality perhaps. |

bali is really cheap to fly to from aus so it's deffinatly the most economical asian country to spend a short holiday. Places like Vietnam, Thailand, etc are more expensive to fly to but cheaper to stay at so if you want a long holiday it would be better to go to that area.

cheap and where is the quality of the tour?
when someone travels to a new country, the most important that the place u will visit by ur eyes,ur feeling.all what u will discover and learn from the trip. For me,i'm looking for a good place to go ,not for a cheap place to visit. and i think the cheapest place is staying my own country and discover it well first. |

I thought Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is also one of the cheapest destination. You can find some local food outlet/restaurant where you can dine less than MYR 10 per person.

Hello Everyone,
We are travelling to Langkawi for the first time in May 2010 on our way back from our annual holiday in Bali. Does anyone have any good reccomendations for a nice mid range price resort or motel in Langkawi? We would like to be near the beach and eating places with a nice swimming pool and room with a balcony. Our budget is around $80 aus per night. We are totally over reading reviews as so confused.Any suggestions would be great. When we stay in Bali we stay at Kumala Pantai in Legion (If anyone knows this resort) and would like a similiar place, but looks like its going to be hard as prices seem so much higher in Langkawi. Thankyou to anyone who has a suggestion. ![]() ![]()
